There are now attorneys out there, that do nothing but look for people violating copyright when it comes to the images posted on websites. These attorneys are like ambulance chasers, apparently they can get a lot of money, if they can show that you copied a photo off of like Reuters news sites, or any other well known site. Be sure you only post photos that you, yourself has taken, or you get them from one of the numerous sites that allow you to use their photos. Although I have lived in GA my entire life, and been to Stone Mountain Park more times than a person can count, I was accused of copyright violations for a picture of Stone Mountain. I have lived in the Stone Mountain area for the last 35 years, and lived in the Stone Mountain area from 1977-1984 as well. My father cleaned the carving on the Mountain back before I was born. I don't need to use the photos of Reuters, or anyone else. The copyright violation chasers need to realize not every similar photo is a copyright violation. They do realize that many people don't want to pay out thousands of dollars fighting them in court, and will pay the couple thousand dollars to keep from having to fight in court.
In other words be careful out there.
